    3 Day Craft Retreat

A 3 day retreat full of crafty goodness!
From Tuesday to Friday lunchtimes enjoy good company, food and cake in a beautiful remote environment. Oh – and some craft too! All the crafts are based on the theme of Nature. A walk in the woods on Saturday morning inspires us. The weekend’s projects include weaving on a home-made stick loom with sari silk and wool. We make fabric flowers and complete an applique picture (follow my design or create one of your own!). We end the weekend, on Monday morning, with flower pounding – eco printing with flowers and leaves directly onto cotton fabric.
Join a friendly and informal group of people – maximum 6 people – for a fun and creative weekend. All meals are included, except for Saturday night, to give you the chance to explore the local area’s eateries. There will be lots of tea and cake!

The price quoted is without accommodation, to give you flexibility.
If you’d like to stay at the Hill Top Haven Retreat, we have the following available on a B&B basis:
Double ensuite room in the main house (£75/night) – this can be converted into a twin if you want to share the room with a friend/your sister/your Mum.
Smaller double room in the Annex (£65/night) and a single room in the Annex (£55/night). The two rooms in the Annex share a bathroom.
These rooms are on a first come, first served basis – they are closed off to general public booking so as to be available for this retreat. If you’d like to book, please message me at admin@beingewe.co.uk.
Alternatively, if you’d prefer to find your own accommodation, but still join the retreat, you’re welcome to do so.

There are a maximum of 6 places available for the retreat.
All diets and allergies are catered for.
Groups are welcome. Please do contact me. Groups of 4 or more booking get a 5% discount.
Please note that I’m holding 6 craft retreats in 2022, with 3 different sets of crafts, so if this is fully booked, you want to try something different, or you want to try them all, carry on looking at the other dates!
If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me, Beverley, at admin@beingewe.co.uk

Reserving your spot via this ‘ticketed’ event requires you to pay in full on booking.
However, if you’d like to pay in instalments, this is possible – just contact me.
You can pay in monthly instalments up to 6 weeks before the event. Alternatively, you can pay 50% on booking, and 50% 6 weeks before the start of the event.

    Learn Mexican Otomi Embroidery

Next in the Stitches of the World Series comes the bright and beautiful Otomi Stitching from Mexico. Using a customised version of a favourite stitch, Otomi stitching uses bright and bold colours to portray flora and fauna. We use a white cotton and perle thread to create this colourful creation. It measures 25x35cm, so is larger than the usual being Ewe workshops – but this is more representative of the stitching works created by the Otomi people – of which you’ll learn more in the class!
This workshop will be held over 2 evenings – 13th and 20th of June.
