Join us for a relaxing day surrounded by the beautiful flowers of Pitfield Barn Cut Flower Farm and learn to harvest, prepare flowers for pressing and be inspired to create your own personalised art. The workshop starts with a demonstration, by Wendy, of the art of flower pressing, including how to select and prepare your flowers through the seasons. You will choose a variety of fresh flowers from the farm garden, to press in your personal flower press. The press and flowers will be yours to take home at the end of the day. We will also work with pre-pressed flowers which we have pressed for you. We will guide you through techniques for mounting and framing your pressed flowers, to make cards and other keepsakes. She has had a varied and eclectic career, both nationally and internationally, which she draws upon for her crafting and design inspiration.
