Learn to make a piped cushion cover with piping and hidden zip from scratch in my peaceful studio at the bottom of my garden here in Stratford-upon-Avon. Full instructions to take home, as well as step-by-step videos.
All you need to bring is the fabric and matching thread for the main cover and the piping; I provide the rest, including a cushion pad (let me know if you are allergic to feathers!), piping cord, zip, plus Janome sewing machine and all the tools you will need for the day.
Come and learn to sew by making 4 projects in 6 sessions: a drawstring bag, a piped pin cushion, a waterproof lined zip up wash bag and an envelope cushion cover with covered button. You will become familiar with all the tools I use every day in my sewing and learn to use a Janome digital sewing machine (very simple to use!). This course will give you all the skills and confidence to move on to making your own projects, or come back and learn to make piped cushions, Roman blinds and curtains.
