Course Details :-

  • February 20, 2022 - December 31, 2022
  • 9am - 3.30pm

Full day courses can be taken at any mutually convenient time of the week.
Dependent on experience, the course will be composed of basic skills required with bowl making for example or for the more experienced we can look at artistic hollow form work etc.
Either way, you will get the 1 to 1 tuition from a registered Association of Woodturners of Great Britain Tutor throughout the day and I would expect to finish a minimum of 2 basic pieces or 1 more advanced piece for you to take home and treasure.
Sensible clothing is essential, and a short safety briefing will take place before we start.

What's included in the price

Included in your day will be all the materials and safety equipment required. Lunch will be provided and gives us chance to reflect. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and is essential as taking breaks from the lathe is required to maintain focus and safe practice. Full insurance in also in place.
