Help For Craft Course Providers

The following information should help you set up your account and quickly get your craft courses listed. If you're having trouble please get in touch, we are always happy to help.

Login to your vendor account and either go to 'Account Details' or 'Edit Account'.

From there, you can change your account name, email address and account password.

Login to your vendor account and go to your dashboard.

Click on 'Settings' and then click on 'School'.

Upload your banner image - suggested image size is 625 x 300 pixels, JPEG or PNG.

Upload your profile picture/logo: max size is 128 MB. Suggested dimensions are 150 x 150 pixels, JPEG or PNG.

We suggest that you use the best quality images you can find. If your images are of poor quality we may ask you to replace them but if you are having trouble with uploading or sizing your images please get in touch, so we can help.

Now list your school under all the relevant categories. Remember to include categories such as 'Gift Voucher', 'In-Person Courses', Online Courses' etc.

Enter the location of your school and a link to your website landing page or social media page where visitors can find more information about your school and craft courses.

Add some biographical information about your school, tutors, quality of the courses etc.

Tip: If you're copying and pasting content from your website or Facebook page etc, you should first paste it into a basic word/text program and then copy it from there and paste into Find a Craft. This should remove any of the formatting which is often hidden in website content, such as background colour, font sizes etc. If you experience any difficulties please let us know, so we can help.

When finished click 'Update Settings'.

When you register your account we will automatically assign you a plan so that you can list up to three courses free of charge. Alternatively, you can also subscribe to one of our paid plans shown here.

(In both instances, please allow up to 12 hours before you receive email notification that you can begin listing your courses).

Now login to your vendor account and go to your dashboard.

Go to 'Courses' and click on 'Add New Course'.

Add a descriptive title for your course - eight words max is recommended. Add your price, then select the type of course - Online Tuition or In-Person Tuition. If In-Person don't forget to select the county/region where the course is held, then enter the duration of the course and any availability dates. You can leave this blank if you wish. You can also upload images for your course, and we advise you use the best quality images you can find as this will make your listing more eye catching. If your images are of poor quality we may ask you to replace them as it could affect the user experience.

For best results your images should be a minimum of 800 x 800 pixels in size, JPEG or PNG. If you are having trouble with uploading or sizing your images please get in touch, so we can help.

Scroll down and add your course URL. This can be a link to the homepage or a dedicated course page on your own website. Leave blank if you wish.

Next, add the categories under which you want your craft course to appear. This is important so that visitors will more easily find your courses. It is also important that it is accurate. Click on all the categories that apply to your individual course and don't forget to include 'online' or 'in-person' categories. Also include the 'gift voucher' category if you offer gift vouchers from your own website.

If your course is 'in-person', please also enter again the county or region where the course is held. This will help to display your course when visitors are searching by location.

Now enter a short description about your course. This should not be too long, approx 20-25 words to generate interest.

Now enter what is included in the price of the course - materials, refreshments, accommodation, finished items etc.

Now click 'Create Course'.

You should now see your course listed in your dashboard. To edit your course click on it. You can now add more information in the full description box and also edit or amend any of the information previously entered.

If you wish to keep your craft course as a 'draft' so that it is not visible online, go to the bottom of the page 'Other Options' and change to 'Draft'. When finished, click 'Save Course'. When you are ready to go 'live', just change the option back to 'Live'.
